Got questions? We’ve got answers. At The Motorcycle Vault, we understand the importance of keeping our clients informed. We have compiled a list of answers to previously asked questions in order to enhance your experience with us. If you can’t find the answer you were looking for, please get in touch and we will be happy to provide you with any missing information.

CAN I FETCH MY MOTORCYCLE AT ANY TIME?

All collections will need a 24-hour pre-notification for the Silver Package and a 48-hour pre-notification for the Gold Package members in order for us to have your bike cleaned and ready to roll for your collection.

Collections may also only take place during weekday working hours 09:00am - 17:00pm.

All customer pick-up and drop-off's need to be booked via our booking system on our site.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY DAYS FOR MY BIKE
TO BE DELIVERED/COLLECTED FROM ME?

All scheduled personal drop-off days are on a Friday between 9:00am and 17:00pm and pick-up days are Mondays between 9:00am - 17:00pm. Please select a convenient time for you for these services via our booking page.

Please note, this service is an additional service and extra fee of R350 per pick-up or drop-off within a 40km radius of The Motorcycle Vault.

IS IT SAFE?

We treat your motorcycles as if they were our own. We have 24-hour armed response and patrol as well as security cameras internally and externally. Our facility is weather-proof from the elements and members only have access to the vault accompanied by a staff member.

DO I NEED TO KEEP MY INSURANCE WHILE I AM A MEMBER?

We do require you to maintain the comprehensive portion of your policy while storing your motorcycle. However, we do keep an insurance policy that covers your motorcycle should an operational incident occur while in our care.

Some insurance companies are able to offer a a reduced rate policy for motorcycles not driven. Should you require any assistance we have preferred insurance brokers we could recommend.
